Marie McMenamin
The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
Reception
There are six receptionists and one secretary in the practice. They are trained to help run the surgery and are willing to help with any difficulties you may have.
Community links practitioner
Annemarie McGregor
Annemarie McGregor is our community links practitioner and you can be referred to her by your GP or another member of the practice team. She helps people access community resources to assist them to live well. Annemarie can help you with any non-clinical issues you may be experiencing. She can signpost you to local services that you might benefit from. For example, welfare rights, counselling, cancer support, volunteering opportunities or access to employability support. She can also help you access fun activities such as walking, swimming, gardening groups, lunch clubs or cooking to improve your health and wellbeing. Annemarie can help you access an online yoga for pain class and a local walking group.
You can make an appointment with our community links practitioner at reception without a referral from your GP.
